Thanks, J. I've used the same cracker-thin crust recipe for years, but recently tried a breadier style using my sourdough starter. It was really good! The kids seem to prefer the breadier crust, so I'll be working with that for a while, I think. Not sure which would be better for calzone--I've used my regular crust, but will have to try using this new one. I sense a project coming on....

Looks good! I've made a million variations of pizza and pizza pie (usually just a type of calzone) but never with a real pie crust or an existing pizza. Will have to try that soon. Do you ever make deep dish or "inverted" pizzas (toppings on the bottom and/or stuffed crust, cheese then sauce on top? 90% of the pizzas we make are Napoletana, but every now and then I crave that Chigago style.

Thanks for that - I've been getting a lot of cauliflower in the weekly veggie box service I use and I'm absolutely out of ideas. This looks really tasty!

The whole thing is pretty funny. I'm not sure what the neighbors think! Zeus is absolutely terrified of milk truck.

I should try carrying over the yogurt. I haven't because I gather it can give off flavors, as it is more likely to be contaminated than the store-bought stuff. I'll give it a try next batch.

I just love the business name. Leche Muuuu - I'll be giggling about that for awhile!

FWIW, on the yogurt side - I save a couple of tablespoons from the batch I currently have and whisk it into the next batch. No need to buy a new cup of yogurt each time. Now, all I have to do is get around to buying fine cheesecloth so I can strain my yogurt Greek-style. Mmmmm.

In a recent trip to Santiago made a one day tour to visit Aquitania, Pérez Cruz and Almaviva wineries, arranged by Karen Gilchrist, a local wine expert, and back in Santiago bought a bottle of your 2007 blend that was recommended at the Wain store. Must say I was greatly impressed when drank it yestardy in Lima with some friends at our Cofradia (food club.) The subtle fruit taste and acidity reminded me of european style wines, not the typical 'marmalade' of most Chilean and Argentinian full-body wines.
Congratulations, and hope to make some time to visit your place next time I'm in Santiago.
